Deja Wu Authentic Cuisine

Today is a very special day for me and my husband. I really wanted to dine out at a place that suits me as well as my husband who keeps a strict diet. My daughter visited with plans for a surprise “aniversary dinner” at a very interesting Turkish restaurant. The place is quite far from where we live. But this wasn’t a bother because what we got there was a very satisfying dining experience Alhamdulillah…

From the first welcome the service was friendly and pleasant. It was not yet dinner time so we could choose seats wherever we liked. Our choice of appetizer was “pacanga” or spring rolls but bigger with fillings of pastirma and melted cheese. For the mains I chose the lamb dumpling called “Manti” which suits my palette. My husband opted for lentil soup with nice Turkish bread and vine leaves – my favorite, so I shamelessly ate some too. My daughter ordered “fish tagine” – barramundi with a sour “chermula” sauce and french fries.

Everything tasted delicious. One thing to note is that main meals don’t come with salad as a standard side, and salads have to be ordered separately. Service is fast enough, the interior is quite comfortable and spacious, and there are also tables outside that are shaded or covered. Interesting Turkish decor. Already we are planning to come back to sample the delicious ice cream that we didn’t have time to try on this occasion.

Hari ini adalah hari sangat special buat aku dan suamiku. Ingin sekali makan malam diluar yang cocok untukku juga suamiku yang sangat menjaga dietnya. Pucuk di cinta ulam tiba, begitu kata pepatah di Indonesia. Anakku datang dan memberikan surprise “ aniversary dinner” di restaurant Turkey yg begitu menarik. Tempatnya cukup jauh dari tempat kami tinggal. Tapi semua ini tidak membuat kami kecewa karena apa yang kami dapatkan disana sangat memuaskan, Alhamdulillah….

Sambutan pertama yang kami dapatkan sangat ramah dan menyenangkan. Saat itu jam makan malam masih belum tiba jadi kami bisa memilih tempat duduk dimana saja yang kami suka. Pilihan kami untuk makanan pembuka adalah “Pacanga” seperti spring roll tapi lebih besar dengan isi keju yg masih meleleh dan daging pastirma. Untuk makanan utama aku memilih lamb dumpling namanya “ Manti” yang cocok untuk lidahku. Suamiku memilih sup dengan roti Turkey yg enak & “ Dolmade” . Dolmade ini favouritku, tanpa malu-malu aku memakannya juga. Anakku memesan “fish Tagine” Ikan yang di steam diberi saus asam yang bernama “Chermula” dengan kentang goreng.

Semuanya terasa lezat. Satu yang aku perhatikan, semua makanan utama ini tidak disertai salad seperti di restaurant lain, salad kita harus pesan terpisah. Pelayanan cukup cepat, ruangan cukup nyaman dan luas, juga terdapat meja-meja diluar yang teduh atau beratap. Dekorasi ala Turkey yang menarik. Sudah dapat dipastikan kami akan kembali untuk mencoba ice cream enak yang tidak sempat kami coba saat ini.
