With its catchy name this new cafe brought us to the Keysborough area, and it’s located within a small mall there. When we arrived the wait staff informed us that their kitchen would close in an hour. I thought we were the lucky last ones for the day but as it turned out five more sets of customers came not long after us to have lunch. The space is quite neat and airy. We chose seats in the far corner of the room. The wait staff were very friendly telling us that all the menu items were halal. While we wouldn’t go somewhere which didn’t have halal options, of course we appreciated them letting us know. It didn’t take long for our orders to arrive – teriyaki haloumi salad and ‘Mary’s little lamb’ (lamb and poached egg on Turkish bread). Afterwards for dessert we had a date slice which wasn’t too sweet with coffee, which was pretty good. We were very happy with lunch at this halal cafe which provides a children’s menu as well. If you happen to be passing through this area or want something to eat after shopping at Aldi or IGA at HomeCo Keysborough, try Son of Adam.

Nama yang menarik dari restaurant ini telah membawa kami kedaerah Keysborough. Tepatnya diarea pertokoan atau mall kecil disitu. Ketika kami datang pelayan memberitahu bahwa dapur mereka akan berhenti memasak satu jam lagi. Aku fikir kami adalah pembeli akhir yang masih beruntung ternyata setelah kami memesan makanan datang lima pembeli lagi makan disitu. Ruangannya cukup rapih dan terbuka. Kami memilih tempat duduk disudut ruangan yang agak terdepan. Pelayan sangat ramah sambil memberitahu kami bahwa semua menu disitu halal. Ya kalau tidak halal tidak mungkin kami makan disitu. Tapi kami menghargai info yang diberikan ini. Tidak lama pesanan kami datang – teriyaki haloumi salad dan ‘Mary’s little lamb’ (kambing dan telur di atas roti Türkiye). Setelah makan kami memesan makanan penutup – kueh dengan kurma yang tidak begitu manis dengan kopi, yang lumayan enak. Semuanya membuat kami puas. Restaurant ini menyediakan menu untuk anak-anak juga. Kalau anda kebetulan lewat daerah ini atau ingin makan setelah berbelanja di Aldi atau IGA di HomeCo Keysborough cobalah restaurant ini.
