Close to Melbourne Madinah which is being renovated, there is a food truck that sells tasty takeaway. The owner is a young Muslim who is very friendly. Great to see young Muslim entrepreneurs. The specialty of this food truck that has quite a number of Muslim and non-Muslim customers in Melbourne’s CBD is a camel meat burger. Unfortunately I didn’t have the heart to eat camel meat yet, so we only ordered a Mexican wrap, a spinach & cheese wrap and a sujuk wrap. Everything is delicious, only the spinach and cheese wrap was a little too sour for me. They also have drinks and coffee. You can eat on the the milkcrates or you can take away the food to the nearby Carlton Gardens or QV like we did. Enjoy and do support Muslim-owned businesses like this in the heart of the city of Melbourne.

Didekat masjid Melbourne Madinah yang sedang direnovasi ada food truck yang menjual makanan-makanan yang lumayan enak. Ownernya anak muslim muda yang sangat ramah. Bangga melihat pengusaha muslim yang muda berjuang untuk hidup. Keistimewaan food truck yang lumayan mempunyai langganan berbagai kalangan masyarakat muslim maupun non-muslim di keramaian kota melbourne ini adalah burger daging unta. Sayangnya saya belum tega memakan daging unta, jadi kami hanya memesan Mexican wrap, spinach and cheese wrap dan sujuk wrap. Semua enak hanya spinach and cheese wrap-nya buatku terlalu asam sedikit. Mereka juga ada minuman dan kopi. Anda bisa makan disitu dengan duduk di milk crate atau bisa di take away ke taman yang dekat atau duduk di QV yang tidak jauh dari situ seperti yang kami lakukan. Selamat mencoba dan mensupport usaha muslim di kota Melbourne.
