After running some errands around the city, my tummy started rumbling like it knew that it was time for lunch. I wanted food that is not too complicated, simple but tasty, with delicious coffee and an informal setting. I was reminded of a place we visited one week end but which was closed as it was only open on weekdays, selling Gozleme. We can find gozleme outlets in several suburbs. The two branches of Goz City in the CBD are closed week ends because their target market is the 9-5 working crowd, who mostly want take away.
The one we went to in Collins St is tiny but this did not affect the large number of buyers who filled this place seeking to eat. Alhamdulillah, the three of us got a seat with a small table. The food reminded me of the street food martabak in Indonesia even though the taste was different but it looked almost similar. Gozleme is also street food from Turkey. The service is quite fast and friendly and the prices are adequate for a tasty, filling meal.
Sehabis mengerjakan urusan tak terasa waktunya makan siang. Pantas sedari tadi perutku sakit.
