Tiba’s Restaurant

The entire Muslim community in Melbourne I think has a soft spot for the endearing chaos of the original Tiba’s in Sydney Road. This place is a reliable go-to for our family and maybe yours. Happily they can also cater for functions at an affordable price. Besides, this pioneer halal restaurant in Melbourne is dry (alcohol free) and has child friendly menu items to keep both the young and the young at heart satisfied. Tibas have also opened branches in Lygon Street, Brunswick and Roxburgh Park. If you haven’t prayed, all branches provide a place for prayer.

Tiba’s is pretty solid. Have you been to their other venues as well!?
In particular I have to say I’ll always have a soft spot for Sydney Rd.

    Huge portion sizes, moderately priced.
It’s definitely a go to for us when we can’t think of where to go, despite the drive.

    1. Yes the one on Lygon and Sydney Road – but I haven’t tried the Roxburgh Park one. As one of the few places open on Sydney Road on Monday nights I’ve seen takeaway lines go out the door at that one 😝
