This is a restaurant that came to mind when looking for halal food in the city. This was my first time trying their extensive rice menu with side dishes. They also offer snacks like stuffed tofu, spring rolls, chocolate bananas, and more. The place was busy when we arrived, as it was lunchtime. Thankfully, we were able to get a seat without waiting. My choice was the black squid rice and palm sugar coffee, while my daughter chose the siomay and a traditional Indonesian drink (the beautifully named ‘soda gembira’ or happy soda). We had the stuffed tofu as an appetiser, which we found too oily, so we didn’t finish it. My daughter loved the siomay. I loved the palm sugar coffee. Restaurant atau rumah makan ini sering terlintas kalau aku sedang mencari tempat makan halal. Baru kali ini aku mendapat kesempatan untuk mencobanya. Menu nasinya banyak sekali dan sudah beserta lauk pauknya. Juga ada makanan kecil seperti Tahu Isi, Spring Rol, Pisang coklat dan lain-lainnya. Tempat ini ramai ketika kami datang karena waktunya makan siang. Bersyukur kami masih dapat tempat duduk tanpa menunggu. Pilihanku jatuh pada Nasi Cumi hitam, kopi gula aren, sedang anakku memilih siomay dan Soda Gembira.Kami memilih Tahu Isi sebagai makanan pembuka yg kami rasa terlalu berminyak, sehingga tidak kami habiskan.
