This place is in the Coburg Pentridge precinct and according to their advertisements, they serve 100% halal food. Unfortunately, they do serve alcohol. When we entered, we saw very flashy decorations on the walls and the signature Mexican sombrero hats. The room is not very large,  with tables and chairs packed very close together. The waiter greeted us with water and glasses while we looked at their menu. Several customers were ordering takeout, while others were eating in, like us. We ordered using the QR code, which corresponds to our table number. For appetizers, we had delicious chicken wings with a sour cream dip and cauliflower wings with chipotle aioli which were also very good. For mains we chose the tofu tacos and prawn tacos – both of which were delicious and suited to our palettes. For drinks, we chose the Mexican “Jarito” soft drinks, in guava and lime flavours. The service was quite fast and friendly. We think this restaurant is worth a try for those who don’t mind the sale of alcohol; or the food can be ordered for takeaway. 

Restaurant ini terletak disekitar Coburg Pentridge. Menurut iklan mereka menyediakan 100 % halal. Malangnya mereka menyediakan minuman keras. Ketika kami masuk terlihat decorasi yang sangat heboh didinding dan terlihat topi khas mereka. Ruangannya tidak begitu besar, dipenuhi meja dan bangku yg sangat rapat. Pelayan menyapa sambil memberikan sebotol air & gelas minum sementara kami melihat menu mereka. Terlihat beberapa pembeli yang memesan makanan untuk dibawa pulang, ada juga yang makan ditempat seperti kami.

Kami memesan lewat QR code tergantung nomor mejanya. Untuk makanan pembuka kami memesan “Chicken Wing  dengan Sour Cream Dip ” yang enak  &  “Cauliflower Wings with chipotle aioli” yang juga enak sekali.  Untuk menu utamanya kami memilih ” Tofu Tacos” dan “Prawn Tacos” semuanya enak sekali, cocok buat lidahku. Untuk minuman kami memilih soft drink mereka yang bernama “Jaritos” kami memilih rasa Guava / Jambu  dan jeruk nipis atau Lime. Pelayanan cukup cepat dan ramah. Kami rasa restaurant ini patut dicoba untuk yang tidak keberatan dengan penjualan minuman kerasnya.
