We haven’t yet reviewed this older restaurant, which we’ve tried before, on our Instagram, and YouTube. It’s got branches in a couple of Melbourne suburbs, and we visited the second of their two CBD locations. A halal sign is prominently displayed outside. It’s always busy – we waited outside until a table was free, which didn’t take too long (about ten minutes). Most of the customers seemed to be Asian noodle fans like us. The service is quite fast, but the space is small and filled with tables and chairs. Given the steady stream of customers to focus on, the restaurant’s decor is rudimentary but classic. This time, I chose the dry lamb noodles which I thought was delicious. My daughter and granddaughter chose the vegetarian dry noodles and my husband chose a burger style meal. Everyone was satisfied with their choices, and their portions were very large. With Bowltiful we’re lucky to have yet another option for halal Asian food in Melbourne.
