On a sunny winter Saturday, my two daughters and their families decided to have lunch together. The restaurant we chose is one that provides Italian food and has a couple of branches in Melbourne. We opted for the one on Burwood Highway about 4.5 km from my house. The interior of this restaurant is very large, without much in the way of decoration. Even though the service was good, it was a little stiff with not too many smiles. But they thanked us very kindly when we were heading home. I think the food that was ordered arrived the fastest compared to all the restaurants that I have reviewed so far.

We ordered the Sofia special pizza, vegetarian lasagne – my favourite – and chicken parmigiana, as well as the garden salad, tandoori chicken pizza and original lasagne. For dessert we chose carrot cake and sticky date pudding with chocolate and rainbow ice cream for my grandchildren. Everyone was satisfied with lunch because it was not only delicious but also very generous in portion size. I could only finish a third of the item I ordered. Enjoy.

Hari Sabtu yang cerah dimusim dingin ini, aku dan dua anak perempuanku beserta keluarganya memutuskan untuk makan siang bersama. Restaurant yang kami pilih adalah yang menyediakan makanan dari Italia. Restaurant ini mempunyai beberapa cabang di Melbourne. Kebetulan kita memilih cabang yang berada di Burwood Highway sekitar 4.5 km dari rumahku. Ruangan dari restaurant ini sangat besar, tetapi tidak banyak decorasi yang terlihat. Pelayanan walau baik tapi sedikit kaku dan kurang senyum. Tetapi mereka menyapa ramah ketika kami pulang . Makanan yang dipesan datangnya aku fikir yang tercepat dibanding restaurant-restaurant yang selama ini aku review.

Kami memesan pizza Sofia special, vegetarian lasagne – my favourite – dan chicken parmigiana, serta garden salad, tandoori chicken pizza dan original lasagne. Untuk makanan penutup atau dessert kami memilih carrot cake dan sticky date puding dan buat cucu-cucuku es krim chocolate dan rainbow. Semua puas dengan makan siang kali ini karena bukan hanya enak tapi juga porsi yang begitu besar. Aku hanya bisa menghabiskan sepertiga dari porsi yang kupesan. Selamat mencoba.
