We know there are many halal pizza places in Melbourne, but this one stands out for a number of reasons.

First it is located opposite the mosque, so if you haven’t prayed you can do so before or after your meal. Secondly it’s Muslim owned – I had a chance to meet the brother and ask about the halalness of the place, though it was after I finished a very tasty & spicy volcano pizza. Luckily he did not answer my question with ‘yeah everything here is halal except the pizza you just ate’!

The service is friendly (with a minor issue that when we ordered coffee, the waiter forgot to ask the size). The decor is standard – clean and functional. The place is crowded on Friday nights & Saturday nights so you have to reserve a table in advance.

Banyak tempat pizza halal yang kita tau di Melbourne, tetapi yang ini berbeda sekali. Banyak keutamaan yg kita dapat disini. Pertama letaknya bersebrangan dengan masjid, jadi kalau belum shalat bisa shalat dulu . Kedua tempat ini orang Islam yang punya. Saya sempat bertemu dengannya dan menanyakan kehalalan tempat ini setelah saya menghabiskan pizza vulcano yang sangat enak dan pedas. Beruntung dia tidak menjawab pertanyaanku dengan menyatakan “iya disini semua halal kecuali yang baru saja anda habiskan….” Pelayanan baik dan ramah, hanya saja ketika kami memesan kopi pelayan lupa menanyakan ukuran kopi. Decorasi ruangan biasa saja. Sebagai info tempat ini ramai pada jum’at malam dan sabtu malam jadi anda lebih baik membuat reservasi sebelumnya.
