For those of us who are huge fans of yum cha, finding a halal option is difficult. But what if you could go to a yum cha place with no pork and where all the meat is halal? Okay, so there are no trolleys, but it’s so much fun eating with one or two friends Asian-style (share plates). Most choices on Roti Road’s yum cha menu (available until 3pm each day) contain 3-4 items. They include delicious steamed or fried chicken and prawn dumplings, vegetarian options, and Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce.

Of course roti is what Roti Road is famous for. It doesn’t disappoint – reasonably priced and fluffy roti comes with three curries, or you can add beef rendang or chicken sides. At 8pm or so at the Footscray branch, the roti chef will demonstrate his flair by dancing to Chinese pop as he makes the roti!

Cukup murah disajikan dengan tiga macam kari, atau Anda dapat menambahkan dengan rendang sapi atau ayam. Di cabang Footscray, pada jam 8 malam, Anda dapat melihat pembuat rotinya menunjukkan bakatnya dengan menari (memakai lagu pop Cina) saat ia membuat rotinya!
