When my son in law told me there was a new halal place in his area we went to check it out and found a popular new deli in Melbourne’s north west. We were amazed by the quality of their sandwiches. The portions were big, the fillings were great and the sandwiches were full of flavour! The space is not big but it seems to be focused on takeaways or maybe UberEats. However, inside there were three small tables for two and there was also an al fresco section with tables and chairs on the footpath. This time we ordered the lamb focaccia which was huge, delicious and divided into two large portions. And my daughter ordered the truffle mushroom melt which we thought had an amazing combination of flavours. We really liked it. Unfortunately we forgot to try their famous tiramisu and dessert. Hopefully we’ll grab it next time. The service was quite fast and friendly. The place is neatly arranged with pots of greenery at the entrance and “Roger Roger” brightly written on the wall. If you are ever in Caroline Springs don’t miss this delicious halal deli.

Ketika suami anakku memberitahu ada tempat makan halal yang baru didaerahnya. Inilah sebabnya kami mencoba tempat focaccia baru disebelah barat kota Melbourne dan kami kagum dengan kualitas sandwich mereka. Porsinya besar, isinya banyak, dan penuh dengan rasa! Tempat mereka memang tidak besar sepertinya mereka focus untuk “takeaway” atau mungkin UberEats. Walaupun begitu didalam ada tiga kelompok tempat duduk dengan meja kecilnya juga disebelah footpath ada juga bagian ‘al fresco’ dengan beberapa meja dan bangku. Kali ini kami memesan focaccia kambing yang enak dengan porsi yang besar terbagi dua. Dan anakku memesan truffle mushroom melt yang menurut kami mempunyai perpaduan rasa yang amazing. Kami suka sekali ini. Sayangnya kami lupa mencoba tiramisu dan dessert mereka yang terkenal enak. Mudah-mudahan nanti kami akan kembali mencobanya. Pelayanan lumayan cepat dan ramah. Ruangan ditata rapih dengan pot-pot hijau dijalan masuk serta tulisan Roger Roger yang terang didinding. Kalau anda ada di jalur jalan Caroline Spring jangan melewati makanan-makanan yang enak dari tempat halal ini.
