I have wanted to visit this place for a long time but just got the chance this Thursday. We found a restaurant that isn’t the largest but with very attractive decor. Sitting there reminded me of the atmosphere of restaurants in Turkey – a place I have visited several times. Plus the Turkish music brought back sweet memories. The super friendly servers encouraged us to see their menu. The three of us chose the trio of dips and bread, for appetizers. Unfortunately the bread was not friendly to my teeth, but I liked the dips which were different from other restaurants. They were delicious for me. For the main course we chose three items from the menu. The first was ‘manti’ (a type of Turkey dumpling); the second was lamb shank (on Turkish style rice); and the last was ‘beyti’ (lamb wrapped in pastry). All were neatly presented. There was only one thing I was not satisfied with – maybe because I am not a fan of ‘risotto’ or Italian rice – and that is how their rice was too soft for me. What makes me like this place even more is that it’s 100% halal, so it’s one of the best choices if you are in the vicinty of Lygon Street in Melbourne.

Sudah lama aku ingin mengunjungi tempat ini tetapi aku baru mendapatkan kesempatan hari Kamis ini.  Kami mendapatkan restaurant yang tidak begitu besar tetapi dengan penataan yang sangat menarik. Duduk disana mengingatkanku suasana restaurant-restaurant di Turkey di mana aku sudah berkunjung kesana beberapa kali. Ditambah dengan musik mereka yang membawa kenanganku. Pelayanan yang super ramah menambah keinginan untuk melihat menu mereka. Kami bertiga memilih tiga jenis dip ( saus ) favorit dan roti, untuk makanan pembuka. Sayangnya rotinya tidak bersahabat dengan gigiku, tapi dipnya aku suka, berbeda dengan yang pernah aku makan diresto lain. Betul-betul enak buatku. Untuk makanan utama kami memilih tiga jenis menu. Yang pertama ‘manti’ (sejenis dumpling Turkey) yang kedua ‘lamb shank’ (nasi dengan daging kambing yang sangat-sangat empuk), dan yang terakhir ‘beyti’ (daging kambing yang dibungkus dengan pastry). Semua ditata rapi dengan menarik. Hanya satu yang aku kurang puas – mungkin karena aku bukan penggemar  ‘risotto’ atau nasi Italy – nasi mereka buatku terlalu lembut. Yang lebih membuatku lebih suka adalah restaurant ini 100% halal, jadi termasuk pilihan terbaik apabila anda di Lygon street di Melbourne.
