When we stopped by Italy on our tour of several countries, I really wanted to try the original recipes from this country, especially “cacio a pepe”. You can find this dish in most places in Italy – when we tried it, it was at the Al Dente Cafe in the main train station in Naples. Because it was a very hot day, we started with iced cappuccinos after which we ordered the cacio a pepe. This pasta dish is very easy to make, doesn’t have a lot of spices and doesn’t use meat – it’s just that if we want a delicious and authentic one we have to go to Italy. Cheeses in Italy taste very different from those in Australia… because they are said to be made from buffalo milk.
Ketika kami mampir ke Italy dalam tour kami ke beberapa negara, aku sangat ingin merasakan makanan asli dari negara ini terutama “cacio a pepe” . Hidangan ini dapat dicoba di sebagian besar kota di Italia – ketika itu kami mencobanya, kami berada di Kafe Al Dente di stasiun kereta utama di Naples. Karena hari ini sangat panas maka kami memulainya dengan cappuccino dengan rasa moca dan ice. Setelah itu baru kami memesan pasta cacio a pepe. Pasta ini sangat mudah sekali membuatnya, tidak banyak bumbu dan tidak pakai daging. Hanya kalau mau yang enak & asli kita harus ke Italy. Keju-keju di Italia rasanya sangat beda dengan yang ada di Australia karena katanya dibuat dari susu kerbau (buffalo milk).
