Bonchon

Bonchon joins the wide range of halal Korean fried chicken options available to us in Melbourne. Its first branches in the city are in the north – in suburbs with large Muslim populations, so from a purely business perspective it made sense for the Bonchon outlets in Broadmeadows and Craigieburn to be halal. There’s a reason the chicken here is crispy – it’s double fried. It isn’t something you should eat too often – even if it tastes amazing. There is also fried cauliflower for the less carnivorous among us, and some fresh and healthy non-fried options like a tasty beef bulgogi bowl. Bonchon is a good value option for halal Korean fast food – I’m just annoyed they are so far from me!
